§ 11. Interpretation, validity and effective date.

    Interpretation. In interpreting and applying these regulations, they shall be held to be the minimum requirements for the promotion of the public health, safety and general welfare. Whenever these regulations require higher standards than are required in any other applicable statute, ordinance or regulation, these regulations shall govern; whenever other applicable statutes, ordinances or regulations require higher standards than these regulations, such other applicable statutes, ordinances or regulations shall govern.

    B.

    Validity. Should any section or provision of this ordinance be declared by the courts to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any part thereof other than the part so declared to be unconstitutional or invalid.

    C.

    Effective date. This ordinance shall be published according to law and shall take effect immediately.
