§ 18-52. Peddlers.

  • All peddlers, defined by Louisiana Revises Statutes, Title 47, Section 342(8) (R.S. 47:342(8)), shall obtain a license and pay an amount for such as established by ordinance of the governing authority and available for public examination on the fee and tax schedule in the office of the town clerk.

All peddlers, hawkers, itinerant vendors, and every person who displays samples, models, goods, wares, or merchandise on a temporary basis in any place, for the purpose of securing orders for the retail sale of such goods, wares, or the like kind or quality, either for immediate or future delivery shall obtain a license based on a fee not to exceed $200.00, R.S. 47:359(C)(1).
